Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand the company's goal and purpose and set actions accordingly;
  • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, production reports and set performance targets to meet revenue and cost goals;
  • Conduct gap analysis to create effective account development plans that drive revenue growth for the targeted customers;
  • Develop and implement overarching sales engagement strategy;
  • Present and consult with internal leadership teams regarding market insights;
  • Monitor, evaluate and share consumer and customer needs, trends, and insights;
  • Identify, evaluate, and support cross-industry technology platform development;
  • Continuously researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives;
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, industry events, presentations, and supplier training;
  • Fiscally responsible for manufacturing operations and operational budgets, including management of finances for the monthly and annual P/L statements;
  • Identify and oversee capital expenditure projects to completion;
  • Comply with rules set out by the government and certifying organizations including, but not limited to FDA, Organic, Kosher, Halal, NSF, and BRC;
  • Provide consistent leadership in working with and managing people and providing all employees with a positive, engaging work environment;
  • Keep continuous improvement forefront operations and define improvement projects;
  • Dedicated to achieving complete customer satisfaction;
  • Assist with account management and customer interactions as needed with a Customer Focused approach;
  • Follow and enforce cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOP’s;
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or other related field, with 15+ years of relevant professional experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required;
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration is beneficial;
  • 7-10 years of experience preferred with a demonstrated track record of increased responsibilities;
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing P&L and accounting practices;
  • Ability to verbally communicate with all levels throughout the organization;
  • College mathematics required;
  • Make educated judgments on correctness, accuracy, and appropriateness of information;
  • Must be able to organize, and prioritize and make decisions;
  • Must be able to create and maintain systems for keeping up on details on multiple projects;
  • Provide reminders of things coming up, administering tasks between parties and create and maintain files on various projects;
  • Must continually demonstrate a very strong attention to detail, careful execution of tasks, and regularly check their own work before submitting as drafted or completed;
  • Must be able to extract and analysis data from ERP system and have strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
