SUMMARY

Responsible for the organization's compensation process, ensuring consistency and fairness in policy and practice. Oversee compensation functions including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, and incentive plan design.

HR Business Partner provides HR consultation and support to specific client groups. Works collaboratively with leaders to prioritize strategic people priorities and solutions in support of business goals through talent management; rewards and recognition; and organizational effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the compensation process for the company. Analyzes salary sources and determines benchmark data to achieve industry competitiveness. Responsible for the annual salary survey process and recommends compensation for new hires, promotions, and job changes to align with equal pay guidelines
  • Evaluates human relations and work-related problems to determine effective remediation techniques; such as corrective action, job skill training, or personal intervention to resolve human relations issues among personnel in client group
  • Facilitates preparation of job descriptions for client groups and conducts analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy
  • Assists and facilitates staffing and organizational development processes within client group

Provides guidance and leadership, as appropriate.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years of progressive experience in a HR generalist role, including 3 years of Compensation or combination of education and experience. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credential a plus.
