Supervisor of Quality Assurance

Job Description

As a Supervisor of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Quality Assurance department.

The impact you will have:

• You will train, lead and oversee all Quality Assurance personnel.
• You will write, review and/or approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs).
• You will participate and assist the Manager, QA and Senior Director, Quality in regulatory, vendor, internal and customer audits.
• You will conduct/assist in investigations, deviations, and corrective and preventative action plans (CAPAs).
• You will oversee customer complaints and product returns.
• You will assist with planning company-wide cGMP training with management.
• You will review MIs and release finished product.

What we are looking for:

• You will have a Bachelor’s degree in a science related field and/or a minimum of 10 years of work experience with FDA and/or USDA regulations.
• You will have experience with US-FDA Q7 and cGMP requirements and/or with USDA regulations.
• You will have a strong understanding of quality assurance practices, manufacturing processes, GMP, documentation, and data integrity requirements.
• You will have experience with supervising others.
• You will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You will be proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and other basic computer skills.
