National Account Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with GPO account managers with an emphasis on full contract implementation
  • Cultivate relationships with senior management at all assigned IDN’s and GPO’s
  • Collaborate with outside and inside sales representative to identify and target prospects
  • Measure and monitor IDN key contract terms including but not limited to utilization rates, market share, and equipment ratios
  • Conduct regular business reviews with IDNs
  • Develop and negotiate contract terms and conditions such as pricing, usage, and equipment
  • Review, edit and authorize all contracts for approval by the VP of Sales and Marketing, North America
  • Manage contract implementation with support from all company divisions including but not limited to Finance, Supply Chain & Operations
  • Oversee equipment conversion process for new IDN customers
  • Goal driven customer service through constant communication and feedback (face to face visits, annual reviews, etc.)
  • Resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Communicate contract updates within the company
  • Report sales and prospect pipeline data on a regular basis within the company
  • Assist in training sales team within the company
  • Develop and maintain a current understanding of the marketplace (i.e. market conditions, trends and competitors)
  • Assist with development of National Accounts budget and execution strategy
  • Conduct all activities safely and within each facilities (e.g. hospital, surgery center) guidelines and protocols
  • Educate customers on products, services and the value added

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or medical sciences

  • Graduate degree in business

  • Professional sales certifications are an asset

  • IDN and GPO Account Management Experience.

  • Field Sales Experience

  • Contract Negotiation Experience
