Manager of R&D

Job Description

As a Manager of R&D, you will be responsible for supporting the function and responsibilities of the R&D department.

The impact you will have:

• You will support the troubleshooting of operations and processing issues by both performing lab-scale processing and data analytics review.
• You will support developing new and optimizing current products for both internal and external production.
• You will support Change Control and creation and execution of Installation/Operational/Process Qualification/Process Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, PV) protocols and develop of summary reports.
• You will be support updates and approve Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
• You will support risk assessments and implementation of the identified improvements.

What we are looking for:

• You will have a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in an USDA and/or FDA regulated industry; Bachelor of Science degree, with a minimum of three (3) years experience in an USDA and/or FDA regulated industry, preferred.
• You will have a minimum of one (1) years of experience with qualification/validation.
• You will have experience with filtering/purification processing, preferred.
• You will have knowledge of US FDA 21 CFR Part 117 cGMP requirements.
• You will have excellent time management and organization skills.
• You will have strong written and verbal communication and employee relation skills.
• You will be proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and other basic computer skills.
