The Manager of Quality Control is responsible for oversight of daily operations of our client’s Chemistry laboratory. The Manager of Quality Control will interact with different levels of management and personnel within each department.


  • Oversight of daily operations of the Chemistry laboratory
  • Train and oversee laboratory supervisor and lead(s)
  • Maintain compliance of all testing methods and technologies used within the Quality Control department
  • Develop strategies for continuous improvement and personnel development within the Quality Control department
  • Write and /or review Standard Operating Procedures
  • Work with all departments for continuous improvement
  • Aid in Customer Complaint Investigations/Deviations/CAPA and Audits as needed
  • Hire and maintain Quality Control staffing needs
  • Advise all departments as needed with technical laboratory information
  • As the workload demand changes for the department, additional responsibilities may be required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with US FDA and cGMP
  • Proficient skills with computer programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Experience managing people, including conflict resolution, team-building, and development skills, preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to organize information and present it to peers, customers, and members of Senior Management
