PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Project Manager will manage all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning and implementation of a project.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Develop full scale project plans.
- Manage project resource allocation.
- Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Provide direction and support to project team.
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Create a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities.
- Identifies project risks.
- At the point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams.
- Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects.
- Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel.
- Responds to inquiries about projects.
- Chairs various project review and pre-submittal meetings.
- Establishes and maintains liaison as required with boards, committees and commissions.
- Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
- Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties.
- Other responsibilities will be assigned an on an as-needed basis.
- Monitor all customer fee for service milestone and ensure they are both completed and billed on time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years experience in project management.
Preferred Additional
- Pharmaceutical, OTC, and/or cosmetic industry experience a plus.

Education and/or Training
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or other related field.
- Project Management Certificate or PMP preferred.
