Manufacturing Manager

Job Description

Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company that develops and manufactures biologically sourced Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their growing team. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for providing leadership to key process operators to maintain smooth operation at the front and back end of production. The Manufacturing Manager must work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other Manufacturing personnel to foster a team environment. The role of the Manufacturing Manager is to aid in the development of processing metrics and improvement projects, and to provide support to quality systems as appropriate.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure readiness prior to startup of each batch
• Ensure smooth transitions of each batch to quality/sales
• Identify and execute process improvement initiatives
• Develop data analysis and tools to identify weak spots in production
• Interface with quality to aid in the development of CAPAs, completion of investigations etc.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or above in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Reliability) or related discipline
• 2 plus years of experience required; 5 plus years of experience preferred
