Manager, Recruiting & Continuous Improvement
Sydney Grierson is the Manager of Recruiting and Continuous Improvement at Germer International. She started with the organization in 2020, after graduating from Temple University with a degree in Strategic Communications / Organizational Leadership. Sydney has always had an interest in the life sciences industry and worked as a pharmacy technician while in college. She is now heavily involved in filling quality assurance, analytical, business development / sales, and EH&S positions.
As a member of Catherine Stier’s team at Germer, Sydney strives to build long-lasting relationships with the professionals and organizations she works with. She enjoys being involved in the strategic development of plans to meet the goals and needs of both sides – all of which is then executed in an efficient and effective manner.
In addition to recruiting, Sydney has a passion for finding innovative ways to support the evolving business and culture of Germer International. Examples can be seen through the revamp of the company’s internship program and annual company volunteer days.
When she is not working, Sydney enjoys gardening, reading, trying new restaurants, and listening to true crime podcasts. Despite living in the Philadelphia area for 10 years and supporting local teams like the Sixers, Sydney is a huge Penguins fan and enjoys watching hockey games with her parents and siblings.
